Week 1 - Folded Paper Models

These are the paper models that I folded. I tried to keep symmetry while changing the facade when looking at it from different angles.

For the 3DSMax model, I tried to do the same thing as I did with my paper models. It is symmetrical along the vertical axis however it looks different depending on the perspective it's viewed from.

week 1 - task

The architect that I have chosen is Zaha Hadid and the project that I will be using is her Capital Hill Residence situated in Moscow, Russia.

What I like about this building is the way the facade and overall shape of the building changes immensely depending on which angle it is seen from, yet it manages to maintain a sense of symmetry from various axis (I also noticed this trend in a number of her other proposed projects e.g. Performing arts centre in Abu Dhabi)
